[00:00:02] Speaker A: Hey, guys, welcome to the show. These last three episodes been pretty crazy. I've had lots of feedback like, what in the world's going on? And lots of good feedback too. But what in the world does the constitution and this US corporation, the. The Organic act of 1870, whatever, and the Federal Reserve in 1913 and this deception, these international bankers that came in corrupted everything. And what in the world does that have to do with health? Well, stick with me, guys. We're going to come full circle because what it has to do with health is your mitochondria that everyone loves to talk about. We want to learn the greatest supplement and diet and workout plan and sunshine and all the cool things in the natural realm to fix that. Mitochondria. At the inner mitochondrial membrane, there's a magnetic free frequency, a magnetic field. You're trying to move those electrons through your electron transport chain to produce energy, and that magnetic field is. Can prevent that from happening. And an organic avocado is not going to fix that. And resistance training is not going to fix that. And sunshine, they'll impact it some. The biggest thing is your heart beliefs, not intellectual heart, what you really, really believe in your heart, where you really put your hope, trust and faith. And so that is such a big deal. And, and trying to understand that more and more and convince ourselves and get that and then pursue that, it's the most impactful thing. That frequency, that magnetic field impacted by your heart beliefs changes the shape of the water that your cells are made up of, that your cells float in, that your DNA floats in, changes the shape of the DNA, the efficiency of all the cellular machinery, that magnetic field, it's amazing. But just to rewind a little bit and remind y', all, 2022 is when everything flipped after 10 years of Veritas Medical, flipped it to Veritas Wellness. God said, you're upside down, you're doing it your way, not my way. The next from here on out, it's my way. And I'm like, what in the world? I thought I was doing it your way. I mean, we're talking 10 years of four pillars, 10 years of tons of testimonies and healings and all that. So God was taking me and us and Veritas to another place of a deeper understanding and no condemnation. I didn't feel bad necessarily, but a little shocked. But it wasn't a condemning thing. It was just like, come on, let's keep going. There's more to discover. And that's how I hope y' all live life. It's Exciting. There's always more to discover. The only lack in the kingdom is a lack of knowledge and a lack of trust is how I would see things. So we get new revelation and understanding and knowledge and truth written on our heart. Now we got to trust that invisible word and we got to step out and go. So it's been great since 2022. And of course, the healing is in the atonement. We've done a lot of podcasts on that, and I'm not going to go through that right now. You can go back and listen to some of those. But why don't we see it? So the carnal mind, the five senses, our life experience. I'm looking around, I see a lot of stuff that doesn't line up with God's wor. So then we start contorting and twisting and interpreting things, or we just call things a mystery, or we just start making stuff up. Well, I can't do that, so I'm going to ask God. Wait, show me more, show me more, show me more. Let's go, let's go, let's go. Because here's what your word says and here's what I'm seeing with my carnal five senses. And lately that's been the big thing. You're living by your carnal five senses. The mindset on the carnal five senses. You let the carnal five senses tell you what the truth is. [00:03:49] Speaker B: You're. [00:03:49] Speaker A: It leads to death. The life set on the spirit leads to the mind set on the spirit leads to life. The tree of life abide in the vine. We have got to get our truth from Holy Spirit, from. From heaven. We are seated there. We're bringing heaven into earth. That sounds so crazy. But it's what the word says. And so that's been the biggest thing lately is the carnal mind is immunity. Let me pull this verse real quick. I think it was Romans 8, 7. Because the carnal mind is immunity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be. That was big. And when you look at that word in the immunity, I'm pulling the strong's definition real quick. It's pretty powerful. And this is what I've been walking by. Hostility, by implication, a reason for opposition, hatred. My left brain, intellect, five senses will tell me all kinds of stuff, and I live by that. And that leads to death. That's just one thing. Why am I not seeing the reality of the kingdom? Well, the word says lack of knowledge. My people are destroyed. The word says doctrines and Traditions of man make the word of God to none effect. Jesus told the disciples, Apistos is why you didn't see that boy healed. The inability to trust a doctrine of Christ, double mindedness. I mean, I go back to my old thinking, my old man who's dead. I'm a new creation in Christ, seated in the heavenly places. And I jump right back down to the first realm, to the physical realm and let my five senses tell me what the truth is. And lately, you know what, all this stuff's been shaken in the world. As far as corruption in our systems. It's just a recognition. I was looking at politics and government and all the systems, education, medicine, all of it, science. That's where I was getting informed from. And man. Anyways, we're gonna listen. I just thought it'd be a good time to take a little pause from exposing that. Ephesians 5:11. Exposing all this darkness, shining the light on it. This last three episodes. It's not, you know, I don't think I'm going to do any more pro. We may on those in the future, we'll see. But you know, I just wanted to highlight those for a second and hopefully have a light bulb go off of man. I was putting my trust, hope and faith in something. This whole thing's corrupted the whole thing. It's the world. I was actually of the world. We're in the world, but we're not supposed to be of it. And I'm recognizing, oh, I was still of it a little bit here, I'm still of it a little bit over here, a little bit over here. And all that is being exposed. So we can let go of that. We can let go of all the Babylonian world stuff and walk in the truth. The fullness of. We're supposed to be maturing up to the full stature of Christ, which sounds blasphemous for some people, but that's what the word says. I mean, we're sons. Jesus was a son, he's the firstborn son. But we're sons. It says we're kings. Jesus is a king of kings. But we're kings. We're priests. He's the high priest, but we're priest. We're in the family. I mean that, that's so hard for people who've been told their whole life they're just sinners saved by grace, hanging on by the skin of their teeth and bearing to get to heaven. It's just a different gospel. So the gospel of the kingdom is coming forth more and more and more and People are getting it more and more and more. And part of it is being able to let go of those systems of the world, exposing the corruption of it. We'll do some more of it on not in the government necessarily, but other systems, education, science. We're going to go after religion for sure, man. Those same early 1900s. In 1910 they came after the medical and tricked us with that Flexner report and shut down homeopathy and herbalism and all the ancient natural healing. Shut it down in 1910. Flexner funded by Rockefeller. Now we've heard about recently the whole IRS and the, the taxes and the 1913 Federal Reserve and the 16th Amendment. All the stuff lately. It's the same guys, the exact same guys behind that. The Rothschilds, Rockefeller Group. Same thing in religion. The Schofield Bible comes in in 1909. Just wait till we go into this story. Who was he? Who was Darby? Who's Aleister Crowley and what's his relationship to Darby? I mean blow your mind in every single seminary pretty much took on that Schofield Bible. So we are going to talk about that. There's, there's a lot more we'll be talking about. And not to just like go after those guys but it's to wake us up to the reality of the kingdom versus the empire and who we are in Christ and what we carry. And it's God's plan to put on display the multi sided wisdom of God to those spiritual forces in the heavenly realms through the body that's us, the church, which is his body. Jesus is our head leading us, the Holy Spirit, one spirit leading this body. And it's not going to be in striving and effort and competition. These fruits are naturally going to flow out of us. The fruits of the spirit and actual practical daily fruit of like I'm gonna, we're gonna do a show probably next week on a guy that was a chef for Tom Cruise and all these Hollywood stars. And he came out of that to walk more in the trueness of who God made him to be. And he's produced products out of that thing. Another guy who let go of biohacking and got back to the, the design of God and doing a little bit of extra for detox. And we're going to talk about his product that he developed. It's not about just products, but that's just an example. Things are actually going to happen in the earth when you're trusting God walking in kingdom truth and not empire truth or lies. So anyways guys, I know it's been a while. Three weeks. We'll take a little pause today. Mark Verkler's gonna talk about hearing God's voice. Does God still speak? That's a key component for moving in the kingdom. We got to listen to that voice. My sheep hear my voice. We got to hear it and obey it, trust it. So enjoy that show today. [00:10:30] Speaker A: If you haven't noticed, I'm sure you have that 2024 has been a year so far of really looking deeper into the supernatural, quantum physics, whatever you want to call it, into this realm that you can't see with your carnal five senses. You can't touch, taste. Here, it's not so data and intellectual. And it's more that right brain, not the left brain. And I think if you've been listening for a while now, you've. You understand why we're doing this. After 10 years of integrative medicine, mostly focused on nutrition, dietary supplements, intravenous therapies, ozone, UV light, pemf. These modalities in the natural realm that are beneficial, we still use them today. I just recommended some today to a new patient. I saw this new patient. It's been sick since she's 15 years old. She's 33. She spent January and February of 2024 in bed pretty much for 60 days. Couldn't get out of bed. She's on nine different medications. She's extremely symptomatic. She's going to a specialist in San Antonio next week to start, potentially start some IV chemotherapy for an autoimmune disease. So her symptoms are real. These are physical. They're painful. They're real. Her numbers on her lab, those are real things. We're not denying the physical facts of the case even offered some complimentary and alternative symptomatic treatment to go along with her current conventional symptomatic treatment treatment. But there are some foundational things in her thinking that had to be overcome. And just the thought of the word lupus. I have lupus. That is a big word. That's a big diagnosis. That's a big. There's a lot that comes with that word. And Just explaining to her that that's just a word that labels this group of symptoms that she has. So it's a real word, it's a real disease, meaning it's, it's. It just. It's a care. It's the name of these characteristic symptoms. But why? Let's go deeper. Let's go deeper. Let's go deeper. So that's where we've been going the past many months now. And a common theme that keeps coming up and will continue to come up is, well, what's the Holy Spirit telling you? What's God telling you? What's he showing you? Where is he leading you? And a question often get is I, how do you hear God? Can you hear God? Does God still even speak? I don't think God does still speak or just lots of questions in the realm of hearing God's voice. So I thought it'd be a great place to start today with Dr. Mark Verkler, which we've had him on the show before, but it's been years ago, and you could go pull that up in our archive page. But I wanted to bring him back on to kind of get another fresh discussion on this and also to see where the conversation goes from here. Because it's not just hearing God's voice. Dr. Verkler. And I'll let him introduce himself and tell his story. But he's been walking out this kingdom path for a long time, and in regards to healing, and he understands how our thoughts actually impact our mitochondria. And that is a foundational belief that I have. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. It's not just a Bible verse. It is true. Your heart is programming your mitochondria. So we've got to go after the heart, the beliefs in our heart. What do we believe about God? What do we believe about ourself? And part of that is, can you hear from him? So, Dr. Mark Berkler, thank you for coming back to the show today. Welcome. [00:14:18] Speaker B: Well, Dr. Ben, thank you so much. It's a joy to be on your show. And I'm 100% agreement with Integrative medicine and with the voice of God as a foundation of health. He does say he's the wonderful counselor. I've experienced him as my wonderful counselor. And through hearing his counsel, hearing his instruction, he's taught me how to overcome arthritis that I had like 30 to 40 years ago after I got fired from Job I loved. And I really was full of anger and hatred and rage. And six months after I was full of anger, hatred and rage. I had arthritis in my knuckles, in my knees. And so I had to ask the Lord about it. You know, where to come from. He told me, because I was so angry, because the Bible is very clear. Every heart does good like medicine. And out of the heart flows the issues of life, which is what you've said. It starts with the heart. And, and my heart was embittered with anger and rage. Turned on all sorts of negative forces within me, turned off my immunes, my immune system, turned on my inflammatory system. I was in pain with arthritis. And so. So when I asked the Lord about it, and I'll tell you how to hear God's voice, but I'm just going to tell you a story before we get into the how to stuff. Is that okay? Oh, you bet. [00:15:30] Speaker A: Perfect. [00:15:31] Speaker B: So I asked the Lord about it and he said, well, the reason you got arthritis because you hate these people. I said, yeah, I hate them because they fired me and. And I really, really hate them. You know, I'd worked there for at least five years and I loved the job and thought I was going to spend the rest of my life there. And with a church, huge church, three and a half thousand people. And I got, say, very fundamentalist Baptist. So I got saved in a culture that said, God wasn't talking, but I've changed my mind completely and I'll explain how in a few moments. So anyway, by that point in time, I had changed my mind. I didn't think God was speaking. And so I asked him, I said, God, how come I got arthritis? He said, well, because you got all this anger and hatred and rage and, and it's messing up your immune system. I said, okay, so fine, I forgive them. Well, I still hated them. I said, fine, I really forgive them this time. And I still hated them. So said, fine, I really, really forgive him. And I still hated them. So I said, well, God, that prayer isn't working. So I did an inner healing prayer where we defined that as just inviting Jesus into the scene where the hurt happened and letting him show up, letting him speak. And so I said, well, Lord, okay, this is my morning devotions. The scene is I got fired at a breakfast table. They invited me to the restaurant. The senior staff invited me to have breakfast with him. We went out and had breakfast. Three men from the board are sitting there. I'm sitting there. They said, we terminated your position last night in the board, so clear out your office today and leave. And, man, I was so angry and I was so mad. And But I wasn't seeing Jesus in that scene. The Bible does say, fixing your eyes on Jesus. Well, in my early Christian life, I didn't know. I didn't honor. I didn't know about that verse. I guess I read it. Fixing my eyes on Jesus. I just never did it. And so my eyes weren't fixed on Jesus. They were fixed on these three miserable men and the knife that was in me and the blood coming out of me. And Jesus was not in the scene, which his last words was, lo, I'm with you always. He said, my name is Emmanuel. God with me. All right, let me turn this thing on. Do not disturb. I'm so sorry. [00:17:29] Speaker A: No problem. [00:17:32] Speaker B: I don't think I got it on. Do not disturb. Actually, I. So I really should try one more time. There we go. So I was not aware of what I was picturing in my early Christian life. I am very aware now. I want to know, am I doing what Hebrews 12:1 and 2 says, Fixing my eyes on Jesus. Paul prayed. I prayed that the eyes of my heart would be illumined, would be inspired. Ephesians 1:17. So I prayed that prayer. I said, lord Jesus, would you come and walk into this scene in my mind that I'm visualizing that doesn't have you in it? And I know that makes it a wrong scene, because you are Emmanuel. You are God with us. Even if we go to Haiti, you're there. David said, in the South. So I'm picturing a scene that's unbiblical in my mind. It's producing immense amounts of anger, which is totally wrecking my health. So Jesus walks into the scene. A vision of Jesus is just a floating picture that drifts down into your mind. So sure enough, as I'm looking at that scene, inviting Jesus to be present, he just shows up. It just pops into my mind. Jesus is there. He's actually laughing hilariously. And I said, lord, I am. Got a knife in me here. I'm leading to death. What's so funny? He said, mark, don't you know I set this whole thing up? And I said, what do you mean? He said, mark, I told you for two years to leave this job, get on the road, and teach how to hear God's voice around the world. And you wouldn't go, so I just kicked you out. I said I was gonna go. I just wanted to pay off some bills and debts and get up on a financial cushion. He said, you didn't ever accomplish that. He said, that's why I threw you out of the nest. So he said, you can see these men as evil men or you can see them as instruments in my hand that thrust you, that thrust you forward into the fulfillment of your destiny, which for the last 40 years I have taught how to hear God's voice all over the world. And he said, if you see them as evil men, it's going to wrinkle up your spirit and your heart, going to wrinkle up your physical body, it's going to wrinkle up your ministry. And if you see them as instruments in my hand, that did for you what you were too afraid to do for yourself, which thrust you into the fulfillment of your destiny because you were too afraid to leave a paycheck. He said, then you can feel honor and respect towards them and thankfulness and gratitude, which are all kingdom, kingdom, emotions. Be in everything, give thanks in everything. So in everything, you really mean that, huh? So. So I said, okay, I think I'll see them as instruments in your hand and I'll be thankful. That faith threw me out because I'd have never got on the road of life, you know, to fulfill my destiny. And within 24 hours, and I felt, first of all, I felt tremendous emotional release of the anger. And I did feel the emotions switched to gratitude. Within 24 hours, half of the arthritis in my knuckles was gone. Within a week, it was all gone. So, yeah, that's the power of the heart to affect one's whole body and their health. Yeah, pause here. [00:20:23] Speaker A: That's awesome. And it's triggered a question in me that's. We'll put the hearing from God here in a minute. [00:20:28] Speaker B: Okay. [00:20:30] Speaker A: So you said God had been trying to tell you for two years to get on the road and go, you weren't obedient. Therefore, consequences, they're sowing and reaping. There's consequences from man's choices that can produce suffering in your life. And that's a big question. Is suffering thing, you know, did God put that suffering on me? Is he using suffering to teach me a lesson? Or was it I didn't know to hear, I didn't seek him. I didn't seek the kingdom. He wasn't lord of my life in this one area, paycheck and provision. He had nudged me, told me, whispered, still small voice, and I ignored it, or didn't listen or didn't seek him. But the point being, it wasn't God's intent for me to go through the suffering. Now I did go through it, but it's by my choice. I didn't Listen and obey. It created a circumstance in my life, sowing and reaping. But even in that suffering, all things work for the good. And I'm gonna. This is gonna come for the good. It may be more painful than I intended. Am I seeing that right? Is that how you see the suffering thing? God using suffering to teach you a lesson versus know that this is a consequence? It wasn't my desire, you know, God. God's will, suffering just. You see where I'm going with this? [00:21:47] Speaker B: I see where you're going. And no, it wasn't God's will for me to resist him for two years, to have to be thrown out of the nest forcibly. That was not his will. For me to get angry, that was not his will. Those were all acts of disobedience on my part. And. And they brought physical pain to my body. But God said, I can work everything out for good, which he did. And. And I realized that the prayer approach I was using, which was to state, I forgive them was. Is not enough. I had to use inner healing prayer, which we define as inviting Jesus into the scene, tuning to his voice and his vision and saying, yes, Lord, do whatever he reveals. So he taught. He solidified that form of prayer as a very powerful form of prayer because it uses pictures from God to help heal the heart. And out of the, you know, pictures out of the language in the heart. Okay. So, yes, I brought it upon me. Can God use it for good? Does he use everything for good? Absolutely. I got over my arthritis. I can teach other people how to get over their arthritis. My story, when I share it with people, they said, wow, that really helped me a lot. So, yeah, he's worked it out for good. And. And yeah, I've learned not to harbor anger and hatred and rage anymore. So, yeah, it's all good. It's all good. It's all good. [00:22:58] Speaker A: Well, let's rewind. Jump way back and put yourself back in that old mindset of how you were raised in those doctrines and trad passions of man that Mark 7:13 says makes the word of God to none effect. But take us back there, because there's some folks that might have red lights, warning lights going off. Wait a minute. Envisioning imagination, meditation, hearing voices or whatever. [00:23:23] Speaker B: So well, I grew up. [00:23:26] Speaker A: You tell this story so well. I think a lot of people will relate who grew up in certain traditions. [00:23:31] Speaker B: I grew. I got saved at age 15 in a conservative fundamentalist, Baptist, separatist church. We were the only denomination going to heaven. So for anybody who didn't Wasn't part of our denomination, wasn't going to happen. That's how narrow we were, okay? We were taught to live out of the Bible, which I did. We were taught to love the Bible, which I did. And, and that conservatism was obviously overboard, okay, because there are other people going to heaven outside the Evangelical Baptist Church. But that's where I got saved. That's what I was taught. Initially. I was taught, you live out of the Bible. I was taught there no voice of God. There are no miracles, there is no healing, there is no prophecy, there's no dream interpretation because we live in a dispensation where those things have all quit. And I said, well, yuck on me now. I just, I wish I would have lived back when Jesus was walking the earth so, so I could have a living encounter with him. Because I'm living in the dumpster dispensation where I. There's no living encounter. I'm living out of a book, you know, And I wasn't happy with that at all. And that's not true at all. That's totally wrong. And so when I got to Bible college, one of the ladies who invited us out for suppers because college food was terrible, she was spirit filled. And she told stories of how her family all got healed when she prayed for them instead of having to go to the hospital two or three times every winter. Nobody had to go for several years. And I'm saying that does not line up with my theology. And. But I can't reject her because she's a loving, she's kind. She's feeding me something better than college food. So I knew she wasn't a crazy maniac. She's a very loving, kind person. So her story collided with my theology. And I had to decide whether my theology was more real or her story was. And her life story. You can test things by the fruit, the Bible says. Well, the fruit of her life was no hospital visits for anyone in her family for several years. I'm not going to annul that because the Bible's like, shouldn't the Bible says test things by their fruit? She has good fruit. So I began to explore the Spirit, the charismatic movement, and I changed my mind on everything. So my battle, you know, to learn to hear God's voice was intense. I'm a left brain thinker, not a right brain seer or hear right brain. People are like my wife, intuitive visionaries, left brain are like me, analytical, theological, and we attract. So you're probably married to somebody the opposite of you and we're supposed to honor each other is the whole goal. And. And eventually I learned that that's what I was supposed to do. But for a few years, I didn't know that. So, anyway, people who could hear the voice of God, I really hungered. I decided, you know what? I'm changing my mind on the voice of God because Jesus said this. He said, my sheep hear my voice now. He didn't say maybe. So I'm a sheep. I'm assuming your listeners are people who've invited Jesus Christ into their heart and ask him to be the Lord and Savior. And if they are, that makes them sheep. His promise to you is, you hear my voice now, that's a guarantee from his lips. It didn't say maybe. He didn't say, I hope you do. He said, you do. So when Jesus issues a guarantee, can I bank on it? You know, so I think I can. If I can't, then Christianity has no value whatsoever. So, of course, the verse that I was using that countered that, that said no, was a verse that I did write out a sheet of paper here. It's a First Corinthians, chapter 13, verse 10. When the perfect comes, the part shall be done away. And so they said, well, the thing that was perfect that came was the. The Bible. And that means that things in the verse before are done away. Like there's gonna be gifts of prophecy, they'll be done away. There's tongues going to be seeds, there's knowledge that's going to be done away. For now we know in part, we prophesy apart. But when the perfect comes, which my church said, I'm going to throw the word Bible in there. Now, the verse doesn't say Bible, but I'm just going to overlay Bible on that and say the Bible is the perfect. So you can do that as long as you realize that's not what the Bible says. That's just your overlay on the Bible. Okay. And whether I trust my overlay in the Bible or not is up for grabs. I don't usually. Because it's usually wrong. So this doesn't clearly say that when the. When the Bible comes, it just says when the perfect comes, the part should be done away. Well, my question is, one of the things that's supposed to be done away is knowledge. How many people believe knowledge has been done away with? If it is, there's no place for science. There's no place for reason. I don't think it's been done away. Another problem is what comes up in the verses right after, because he defines what the perfect is. He said, when I was a child, I used to speak as a child, think as a child, reason like a child. When I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass family, which I agree any visions I get are pretty dim. Okay, but then face to face. Okay, now I know in part, but then I will know fully. So when the perfect comes, it's according to that context. It's a face to face encounter with the living God, which I believe is going to happen when I get to heaven. We're all going to have face to face encounters with him. And that's not where it's at now. I'm not living face to face with. I mean, the Bible is not. I mean, this is not a face to face encounter with Jesus. Okay, If I got married to my wife Patty and told her, well, you're gonna have a face to face encounter with me and I'll tell you where, how you're going to get it. I have written this book on poor Keith hearing God's voice. So take the book and that is your face to face encounter with me. She would say, no, it's not. She said, I want to have a relationship. I said, well, okay, we'll have a relationship that. Skip the book. You have to live out of a book. Okay, you don't have to live out of it. You can live out of person. So I got saved because I was taught that if I had a relationship with Jesus, that's what got me to heaven. And I invited him in my heart out of theology, which said I had a relationship with him. The only problem with my relationship is I couldn't hear his voice and I couldn't see him and I couldn't feel him. If I told you I had this really great relationship with my wife Patty, and I said, well, I really can't hear her, I really can't see her, I really can't feel her. But we have this great relationship. You would think there's something wrong with my brain. So I changed my mind and I said, yeah, I do want to hear. As a matter of fact, here's another verse, two more from John, which I'll just give them to you and then I'll get back to my story. Jesus declares, this is John 8:47. Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is because you do not belong to God. In John 16:13, Jesus tells his disciples that when the spirit of truth comes, which he's come now. All right. He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak in his own. He will only speak what he hears and he will tell you what is yet to come. So he's very, very, very clear that we have the Spirit and he's going to talk to us and tell us stuff. So for me to overlay the word Bible on a verse that doesn't have the word Bible in it and say, well, that's the perfect. So I'm going to assume that I can't hear when we've got very, very clear verses saying, yes, you can hear very, very clear. So I go with the clear verse is not my interpretation of some verse. It does that. I've decided I'm going to make say what I wanted to say, even though it doesn't say that. So I undermined the stuff that was holding me back. I began to ask people who could hear God's voice what it sounds like because I couldn't hear voice. And they said, well, you just know that, you know. He said, no, I don't know that. I know. That's why I'm asking you how to hear God's voice. And they said, well, you know, I. I ask him, you know, I'm assuming it comes from my heart and my spirit because the spirit's within me and I'm assuming, you know, it's going to come from my spirit. And I listen for a booming based voice. There was no booming based voice. Okay. And so I'm assuming it's going to come out of my heart and spirit. So could you tell me what my spirit feels like? They said, doesn't feel like anything. I said, why not? They said, well, because feelings are soulish and your spirit resides in your heart and there's no emotions in your heart. You know, your spirit. I said, well, I don't want to be soulless. So I cut off emotions. Well, that's not true. God sent Ezekiel embittered in the rage, which is an emotion of his spirit. Spirit, spirit, spirit, not his soul. So the fact there's no emotions in my heart or my spirit is totally wrong. Even though I was taught that, preached that used to believe that. That's one of the lies that I repented of when I learned to hear God's voice. And he began to explain scripture to me like he did Emmaus. Rhodey, when walking with them, explained scripture to them, their hearts burned within. Their theology completely changed. And that happened to me. And it's happened to hundreds of thousands of people who we've taught how to hear God's voice. So I said, well, if I can't feel my spirit, then could you tell me, you know anything about my spirit? They said, well, you know, it's the innermost part of it. Yeah, but how do I sense it? Well, it's the part that talks to the guy. Yeah, but how do I sense it? No one could define that. So I'm going to define it right now. John 7:37, 39. Out of your innermost being shall flow rivers of living water. This he spoke of the Spirit. So the Spirit, my spirit within, feels like flow. It's a river that's flowing. It feels like flow. He is experienced as flow. Now, I had zippo theology on flow. All I had was a theology on reason and logic that I was supposed to use my reason and logic to figure out truth, which is not what the Bible said. Even that's what I believe. The Bible said, don't lean not to your understanding. I was leaning to my own understanding. And so that was wrong. Most everything I was taught initially was wrong. And so set aside my reason and logic and realize there is a river that flows from the throne of God into my heart. When I accept Jesus Christ in as my Lord and my Savior, it'll flow out through any faculty that I want to yield to it. Okay? And so I began to build up the. I went through scripture and looked for the flow. And I ended up be finding God's voice as flowing thoughts that light upon my mind, flowing thought. Well, that's simple. Every single person listening today has had a flowing thought light upon their mind. And they thought, man, that was a good thought. I didn't think that up. That could have come from God. We've all experienced that. Einstein experienced it. He said, I think and I think and I think. I get nothing. He said, and. And then I swim in silence. And the answer comes to me, well, so he becomes still tunes to flow and gets revelation knowledge. That's a couple of the keys to hearing God's voice. God woke me up one morning after I decided that I needed to take a year of my life and learn to focus on hearing God's voice. Halfway through that year, he woke me up with a booming bass voice which I've heard once in my life, said, mark, get up. I'm going to teach you to hear my voice. He took me to Habakkuk 2, 1 and 2 Habakkuk. He's a prophet who can hear God's voice. In those two verses, he does four things. He showed Me the four things, two of those we just mentioned. I will go to my guard. Folks, we have a place for you. Quiet yourself. Still yourself in the Lord's presence. I will keep watch to see. Huh, That's a newie. A new one. I hadn't used vision intentionally. I hadn't looked in the spirit world and said, God, what do you want to show me? Can you, since you say you're Emmanuel, God with me, could you show me that? I mean, I can think the truth or I can picture the truth. We say a picture's worth a thousand words. Well, if a picture is worth a thousand words and I'm picturing there's nobody next to me and I'm saying Jesus is next to me because he said, lo, I'm with you always and I'm Emmanuel, what's going to win this battle? My confession and my belief or the picture that I'm holding? And since I do believe a picture is worth a thousand words, I need to picture what the Bible says is true. And right brainers tend to do that when they read the Bible. They picture the stories. Left brainers tend to not picture them. They just think about it. I'm a left brainer. I become a right brainer. I can use either hemisphere, but God would like to use both hemispheres. Should I let you say anything or should I just keep right up and rolling here? [00:36:04] Speaker A: You keep, keep flowing. [00:36:06] Speaker B: Okay, so that. So Habakkuk. I'll go to my guard post. Write yourself down. Key number one. Keep watch to see. Use vision. Take the eyes, your heart. Present them to God. Ask God to fill them. Why wouldn't I? Why wouldn't I want to ask God to fill every faculty within me? Because either God's going to fill them or I'm going to control them and use them. And me controlling them and using them is not Christianity. That's me in action. Christianity is Jesus in action through me. All right, so yeah, I presented the eyes of my heart to God and I'll tell you that story in a moment. I'll just give you T3 and 4 right now. And then, so you have all four and Abacus, I will keep watch to see. That's vision. What he will speak to me. Well, God's voice is spontaneous, flowing thoughts that light upon your mind coming from the river within. And when you yield control of your thoughts yourself and say, holy Spirit, would you illumine my heart and my mind? And you're tuned to flow and your picture Jesus with you, a flow will kick in which is the voice of God and the vision of God. Flowing thoughts are his voice, flowing visions, flowing pictures are his vision. And so. And the Lord in the next verse, verse two says, and then the Lord said, record the vision. So get out, see the paper, all right? And just begin to. Now that you've tuned the flow, begin to write from the flow. Flow. And I wasn't doing most of those keys, probably. I wasn't doing any. Any. But. But I found if you do all four at one time, just like Habakkuk did, just like John did in Revelation 1:9 to 11, all four keys, same four keys. He's using them all. You can hear easily hear God's voice. So I. This one morning, the Lord showed me, and I tried him. I said, lord, what about this rebellious teenage, quote, foster girl that we have living with us who's a runaway from her home, her parents go to our church, and. And she's breaking all the rules. So I just want to hit her, you know, and say, look, if you all live in this house, you're going to obey the rules. And she snuck off for school, so I couldn't read her the riot act. So I journaled about her, and I said, lord, what about this girl? And I pictured Jesus. And the flowing thought that came to me was, love, love unconditionally. And I thought, oh, really? I really want to hit her. And I thought, well, it's not me talking, and I don't think it's a demon talking to me. I said, that sounds like it might be something Jesus might say. So I wrote down love unconditionally, went back to the vision, said, lord, is there more you want to say? And. And also, you know, when he said love unconditionally, it's like the scene came alive in Jesus's gesturing. So it's not just. It's not just a godly imagination of me picturing a Bible truth that Jesus is next to me. But when I asked the Holy Spirit to take it over, I pray that the eyes of my heart would be enlightened. That's what Paul's doing in Ephesians 1:17. And I tuned to Flow. The scene in my mind comes alive. And Jesus gestured, well, then it's no longer a godly imagination. I just stepped from a godly imagination into a vision. And so I looked back at the vision. I said, lord, is there more? He said, yep. And the thought that came drifting in was, she's very inspiring, insecure. So I opened my eyes and wrote down, she's very insecure. And I thought, huh, that's not what I was thinking. I was thinking, she's very rebellious. And so I pondered that, and I said, you know what? Since she is a runaway girl, she ran away from her home. Her parents asked Patty and I take her into our home to administer grace to her. I'll bet if I was a runaway teenage girl, I would be very insecure, and I would cover it up in the facade of rebellion. So do I. Do I minister to her facade by beat her up, or do I administer insecurity by hugging her and just building a deeper relationship? So I did number two. When she came home from school, we spent an hour just talking, building a deeper relationship. The fruit was good. She did not run away from our house. She stayed, came to church every Sunday. That's good. Truth. That was the first time I heard the voice of God. And I know that first day that I started using these four keys, I was pretty excited because I had tried for 10 years to hear a voice and no one could define it. I couldn't understand it. And now it's as simple as flowing thoughts. Well, if somebody could have said this sentence 10 years sooner, I could have heard his voice 10 years sooner. God's voice is as simple as just quieting yourself down, fixing your eyes on Jesus, tuning to flow, and writing. That simple. So I just did those four cups. I did them again, and I asked the Lord, you know, lord, Lord, what else would you like to say to me? And I wrote and I tuned to flow and got up like a half a page from flow before it ended. And I took it to Patty, my wife, and said, what is this? And she said, that's God talking to you. And I said, really? And she said, yeah. So my faith went up. So I went back into the same four things. Stillness, vision, flow, journaling. Another time, got another half a page, took it to Patty. She said, that's still God. I went back with more faith, did it again for a half hour, got another half page, took it to Patty. She said, it's still God. I did this for five hours straight. This is after 10 years of hearing nothing that I could identify as a voice of God. It's not that he wasn't talking, it's just that nobody suggested it's flowing thoughts. And there was no sermon on that. There was. I mean, the Bible's full of teaching on a river that flows, for heaven's sakes. And living out of the fountain of life, the river that flows. Old Testament talks about New Testament, talks about book of Revelation talks about it, Genesis talks about it. I mean, it's a prominent theme in scripture. And Ezekiel wades out in the river and gets deeper and deeper and deeper. So the further I go with flow, the more I can go. And flow can connect my vocal cords, and flow connects my vocal cords. I end up speaking the oracles of God. When I ask flow to guide my reasoning, I have anointed reasoning. I have the mind of Christ, and I have anointed thoughts, which are more brilliant than my thoughts. When I ask flow to flow through my hands, I can feel energy going through my hands as I lay hands on people. And God's healing power is flowing to healing them. So any and every faculty can and should be presented to the river within. And as we do, it becomes an extension of God to touch and heal the world. And that's fascinating, fascinating information. That's all brand new. So that is. That's the way that I battle to, through to learning to hear God's voice. Submitting my journaling to people I respect like Patty, is very important because the Bible said, in the mouth of two or three witnesses, every rhema is confirmed. That's the Greek word. Rhema is a Greek word, translated word. And when God wants to specifically, specifically mention spoken word, he uses rhema. When he wants to talk about the entire communication process, which includes written word and spoken word, he'll use logos. So logos can encompass both. But when he's being specific that I. That we're talking about words leaving your mouth or Satan's mouth or a donkey's mouth or whoever, words leaving the mouth, that is rain. So he said, every rhema gets confirmed with two or three people. So I tell everybody, look, you don't want to be confused. You don't want to get messed up with a demon. So you make sure that if there's anything major or significant or kind of out there, you submit that journaling to three people, like the body says, and ask them, hey, does your heart bear witnesses came from God? And if they say, yeah, my heart bears witness that came from God, then you can say, this came from God. Because you just used God's paradigm for discovering truth, which is not the brilliance of Mark Berkeley's brain. It is submitting my life to two or three other people that I respect in the Lord, who have a biblical foundation, who can hear God's voice, who are themselves submitted to, to other people. They're not arrogant fools, okay? And. And they're living expressions and hope. And. And I'd like them to Be alongside of me or ahead of me in the area we're talking about. So, yeah, the submission of three people is very, very important. Also, of course, it always has to line up with the Bible and that your three. I mean, if God says, mark, love your wife and don't be so judgmental, I don't need to submit that journey to three people. But if he says, mark, it's time to move to Alaska, that's a biggie, you know. Yeah, I'm going to submit to three people for sure. Yeah. All right, follow up, ideas or questions. [00:44:12] Speaker A: Thank you. That was great. I'm. I'm trying to put myself in the shoes of someone who's maybe new or still in certain box of theology doctrine. You know, vision, envisioning things, hearing things. You know, you've mentioned demon. Can you speak a little bit? Or if the, even the word New age might pop into someone's head, kind of talk about that a little bit. And maybe counterfeits. I know you've, you've heard. You talk about that before. [00:44:42] Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. Well, I do believe the New Age movement is a counterfeit movement. And I believe a couple characteristics of a really good counterfeit is they got to be counterfeiting something that's real and it's got to have value, which is why we don't have any counterfeit 21 bills, because there's not a real. And that's why we don't have any counterfeit $1 bills, because they're not worth counterfeiting. You counterfeit 20s, 50s and hundreds. So if the New Age movement, which I believe is a counterfeit movement, is out there using vision and visualization and hearing from the spirit world, well. Well, then that tells me two things. There is a real. And I just need to go back to the Bible. I need to look every, every single verse on vision and dream and imagination to find out what God has said about it. Okay? Because I want to do what God has said, not what the counterfeit is doing. But, but since they're counterfeiting it, I know it's. There's a real and I know it has value. And that's exactly what I did. I went back and looked at every verse on dream. Every person, vision, every person, imagination, pondered and prayed over and built a theology. And we have two hours of video training where we take you through scripture after scripture, after scripture and says, here's. See what the Bible says about this. And there's so many hundreds of verses. I mean, dreams are one third of the Bible. The recording of the dream and the recording of the actions that people took out of it. 50 dreams, it's one third of the Bible. And visions also very, very big in Scripture. And the voice of God, it starts in Genesis. God is taking a daily walk in the garden full of the day. That was his original intention. It hasn't changed. When Jesus died on Calvary to restore the Garden of Eden to us, he said, hey, I'm going to be with you always. I'm going to be right next to you. King David said, you know what? I'm going to step into that reality even though I'm in the Old Testament. Here's what King David did in Psalm 16:8. He said, I have set the Lord at my right hand. I will not be shaken. And that's quoted next to 17, I believe it is. 225. Maybe it says. It's quoting Psalm 16:8, which is the verse that I just gave you. And says, king David says, I behold eyes. I behold the Lord at my right hand. I will not be shaken. All right, so David is setting the Lord and picturing the Lord. That's clearly. It's not a vision. It's godly imagination. I'm going to define godly imagination as picturing what the Bible says. And so. And I'm going to define an evil imagination as picturing things contrary to the Bible. So if God says, well, lo, I'm with you always, I said, well, I'm going to picture that. I'm just going to picture there's nobody next to me that's an evil imagination. And the Bible has a really clear promise for evil imaginations. They'll take you backwards and not forwards. Exactly what the Bible says. Well, if I'm picturing Jesus isn't next to me, I'm scared. Spitball this. I'm full of fear. I don't picture Jesus ruling over the government. I'm depressed as can be because right now the government's in a lot of evil and wickedness. And I've journaled about that and said, lord, where in the world are you? In Washington. And he's shown me a vision. He's told me what he's doing. And I said, oh, okay, well, I don't have to be depressed then. Okay, I understand what's going on right now. So, yeah, there's King David, who is a really good example in many, many things, and this is one. And he's picturing, I behold the Lord at my right hand. I will not be shaken. You're not picturing Jesus at your Right hand. And you're picturing yourself in the world against that forces of the world. You're scared spitless. You're full of inferiority. You're full of accusation, condemnation, depression. So. So you're living at the promise. If you have an evil imagination, you go backwards. So there's no such thing as not having an imagination. You're either picturing Jesus next to you or you're picturing is not. You're picturing nobody there. You're picturing something. You may not be aware of the fact that you're picturing something, but you are. And you need to become aware of what you're picturing because there's only one verse in the New Testament telling you where your eyes should be fixed. It's Hebrews, chapter 12, verses 1 and 2. Fixing our eyes on Jesus. All right, that's the only place. And. And that's why. That's why I can picture what he said. Look, he's right with me at all times. And boy, from my picture, that fear leaves. Okay, I'm at peace. Peace is kingdom, is peace and joy. All right? Righteousness, peace and joy. All right? I need to be at peace. If I want to be healthy, I need to be at peace. If my heart is not at peace and full of love and joy and compassion and gratitude and thankfulness, there is no chance I am healthy. There is zero chance that I can be healthy. These are the kingdom emotions. Love, joy, peace, compassion. Jesus, moved by compassion, healed, healing power, wrote on the road, on the carrier wave of compassion, which is an emotion. All right, so. So I don't build any of my theology based on reacting to the New Age because I don't give a rip with the New Age believes. I mean, the New Age believes in wearing clothes. And are you going to suggest that maybe I should or go nude just so I'm different from them? I mean, that's kind of what's being suggested. If the New Age uses imagination and visualization, we can. They say, where in the Bible does it say we build truth by examining cult groups and living in reaction to. It's not the way God said, you build truth. You build truth by going to the Word and going to the Spirit and you look up. But what I do is I look up every verse on the topic using electronic concordance. And I spend several days, weeks or months praying over them, pondering them. Bring them together into an understandable, meaningful message for me so I can live. So I can live the Bible. Because I now believe I can live the Bible. Where I was taught I couldn't live the Bible. It was all different. Dispensation and I lived in the dumpster age. I reject that. I live in the church age, which is the best age. I can live the Bible. If Jesus did it, I can do it. Because he. I'm to imitate Christ. That's what Paul said. He imitates Jesus and we're to imitate Christ. [00:50:52] Speaker A: Yeah. And it says Christ in us, the hope of glory. And we are seated in him in [00:51:00] Speaker B: heavenly places, ruling and reigning with Christ. And he took all. All the authority of Satan when he left this planet. He said he took all Satan's power. Yeah. And he now has it all. And he is now ruling with it all. And he has us sitting next to him and he said he gave it all to us. [00:51:19] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:51:20] Speaker B: So I'm not giving any authority back to Satan. I have no fear of Satan or demons because they don't have any power unless I decide to give them some power by misplacing my faith and putting faith and believing they've got power because Jesus clearly declared he took all that power. Yep. [00:51:36] Speaker A: I describe it to patients when. When we're talking about this kind of stuff, like a lion whose claws. He's been declawed, defanged, all the power's gone now. He's still roaming around. And some preacher gave this analogy one time, like on an African safari, when you're in one of those jeeps with all the. The tourists in the jeep, and you. And I've been on one of these, you pull up to that lion, you can be 10 yards from the lion laying under the bush in the shade, and the tour guide says, stay in the jeep. But they turn the key off. It's not. I mean, you're just sitting there, you're sitting duck. But they said when you're in the jeep, he. That lion sees you as just part of that jeep, stay in the jeep. One guy I stepped out of the jeep one time I heard about, and he got devoured. When we are in Christ and that's in our heart, in our thinking, when we're lining our thoughts up with truth, that there's no power, he can do nothing. And some other preacher said, you know, the battle's not between God and the devil. That's a joke. God wiped that out in a heartbeat. God's decided to restrain himself, partner with us. Jesus is the head of the body, but the body of Christ is going to put on the manifold wisdom of God to the spiritual forces in the heavenly realms. It's a huge point of God's restraining himself and he's partnering with us, his children to get some stuff accomplished. There's a lot of understanding I didn't have. And you used a phrase earlier, I changed my mind. The word repentance. A local former retired preacher really nailed, nailed this down early on in my, A year or two ago, that word repentance, I used to think, well, that means turn, go the other way and just don't do that bad thing, don't sin. But the Greek is change your mind, go beyond. And a lot of this is changing the renewing of the mind. But you said I had to change my mind mind. Could you speak to that? Some. Because there's a humbleness or there's a, a seeking of truth, there's a willingness to, to. If you come up against something where your opinion or your thoughts, your old ways of thinking don't line up, you're. You humble yourself and you yield your opinion to the truth. Even when the carnal, your five senses, your doctor's report, your bank account, your, the world, whatever, in the carnal, eternal flesh, reality of the physical realm is telling you, here's the facts, but here's what the word says. And when those two things don't line up, childlike faith is humble. I don't have a preconceived notion or dogma or doctrine or I'm willing to change my mind, go beyond where I used to think. [00:54:21] Speaker B: Exactly. And, and you know, when I church, I got saved and saw repentance is a very negative thing. Like if I have to admit that I have to repent of a sin, that means I'm a really low down, low class Christian. My idea of repentance is, hey, I celebrate repentance because it gets me, I change my mind, it gets me out of this box, this prison that I, that Satan has helped me build, okay. Of ridiculous beliefs. And I, and it gives me a new platform in the Holy Spirit so I can move forward. So blessed are the meek, those who can be humble and can admit they don't know everything the Bible clearly says we don't. Bible says the path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter until the dawning of a full day of Christ in our hearts. So it's getting brighter and brighter. We're seeing more clearly, more clearly, more clearly. We're changing forever. I have a sign in my office and my desk right here. Don't bother to agree with me. I've already changed my mind because I plan on growing and changing My entire lifetime. And so I celebrate chance. I can change my mind. I mean that there is no growth. You're, you're stuck. You're already dead, basically. If you can't change your mind and grow, then, then you're stuck in the traditions of yesterday, which is what theology is. That's yesterday's experiences with God codified. And God said, mark, you don't live out of theology. I said, I'm a theologian, of course I do. He said, mark, why don't you look up the word theologian in the Bible? I did. It's not there. I said, oh, maybe I shouldn't be a theologian. He said, mark, theology is yesterday's revelation codified. That's not what I called you to live out of. I called you to live out of the fountain of life, the river of life. And he said, you need new manna every single morning. Just, you know, like they did in the wilderness. And they said, well, we better store it up in case you have enough. He said, you know, you store it up on Saturday, you'll have enough for Sunday, you know. And they, and so that worked okay. But when they wanted to store it up during the week, when he told them not to, it's spoiled because he said, you need fresh stuff every day. So in the morning I get up and I go to my laptop and I say, good morning, Lord. I just type it in. What do you want to say to me today? I love you, I give you today. And I tune to flow. And flow kicks in and I type from flow and I get a paragraph on one paragraph from the wonderful counselor in the morning. That can set you up in a really good frame of mind. And if he wants to go longer, we'll go longer. Then if he doesn't, that's perfectly fine. That can be done in five minutes. So, and I encourage everybody to start with it. Just if you want to start this as an experiment, we've got some really nice tools on our website to help you. But here's a really good exercise. You write a two way love letter between you and God. When I was in college, Patty and I were separated in summer, summer vacations. We wrote love letters back and forth every single day. So I say to people, to start this out, why don't you just go ahead and write a love letter and just tell Jesus in one paragraph, four minutes or less. Lord, here's one of the reasons I love you so much. And if you're doing that, you're becoming still, you got your eyes fixed on Jesus and you're tuned to your heart, so you're pretty well in doing the four keys. And then for paragraph two, the next four minutes, just fix your eyes and make sure you're doing all forest. Remain still, smile on your face, picturing Jesus there with you. Tune the flow and let Jesus tell you how much he loves you back, because he does. He loves you so much he died on Calvary and so much he loves you. And he'd be glad to tell you about his love to you today. So it's a two way love letter. Two four minute paragraphs, easy as can be. Wonderful place to start to let you see how real it is. And then if you decide, hey, you know, I'd like more theology here and I want all the steps laid out with, with plenty of scripture. I always team up with a few people who want to learn it with me because I can learn 10 times faster. And if you do that with a group, you will master the skill of hearing God's voice. You'll find it's very easy, it's very simple. You will not go berserk not if you follow the rule that you submit all your edgy journaling to three spiritual advisors who meet six criteria, which I ran through most of them a few minutes ago. You're not going to run. You have no fear of running berserk because they're going to keep you on on the path. Okay, so I think that's enough for me right now. [01:00:04] Speaker A: Yes, thank you. We've got 10 minutes roughly so this probably is not a fair question to try to get done in 10 minutes. [01:00:11] Speaker B: So go ahead. [01:00:13] Speaker A: But we can do part two if we need to. I've been on a journey. We're all on our journey but mine specifically since I'm a physician, I'm an MD. And then I learned that MDs just got taught to treat symptoms. Then I learned in the integrative realm a lot of that is nutraceuticals instead of pharmaceuticals. Still treating the symptom. [01:00:33] Speaker B: Right. [01:00:33] Speaker A: And then someone told me Jesus paid for the healing that's part of the atonement. He healed everything. And I went and studied that really in dep and I concluded that seems to be what scripture says. But that's not the reality of life of what I'm seeing and it's sure not the reality of my patients and most my patients do believe in Jesus and go to church and it prayed different prayers for God to heal him. So anyways just where I've landed and I totally would respect for your you know you've been on the long long journey 2 and I know the Lord's shown you a lot here but here's what I saw reasons that maybe we don't see people get well My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Doctrines of man make the word of God to none effect. The Greek word apistos the inability to trust a doctrine most Bibles translated unbelief. It's a word that Jesus used with the disciples when they couldn't heal the boy and number four I call it hometown thinking which Jesus's hometown. He did not heal many but it's because they weren't looking to him, coming to him. They came to him looking at him as a in a narrow box of you're just Jesus that grew up here the man, the guy they weren't coming looking at him as the fullness of who he was the Messiah. So those four things I I can see pretty clearly in my life, in the culture I grew up in, in the my patients as I talk to them. But where I've landed is God wants our heart out of the heart flow, all issues alive. Guard your heart. Because of that, the mitochondria is being programmed by the heart, I believe. So instead of getting so focused on healing, healing, healing, which I sure don't blame anybody. Like the lady today, she is suffering, she is hurting, she's in bed all day. Of compassion for her. I would love to just presto, walk out of here and not saying that couldn't happen, but we don't see that happen a lot. But so where I'm at right now is seek the healer, not the healing. It's a heart thing. God wants our heart. He wants us to trust him and be him, be lord of our life in every area, meaning trust him in every single place. Not just savior to get me to heaven kind of thing. So I mean, like I said, I'm on my journey, don't have it all figured out. But what are your thoughts on those four things? Or thoughts in general? And again, we have eight, nine minutes. We. I know it's not a lot of time, so we can talk more if we need to at a different episode. [01:03:04] Speaker B: Okay, well, I totally understand your walk. And, and I've had it. I've done it too. I, I left allopathic medication where they just treat the symptoms if, if they can figure them out. And I became a naturopath many years ago, 40 years ago. And, and then I've been a charismatic, spirit filled Christian for 30, 40 years also. So I pursued spiritual healing and natural healing and written half a dozen books in that area. Okay. And yes, I agree. By his stripes, we are healed. We need to see it. See his stripes, see the price he paid. We need to. When we see that, we feel powerful emotion because emotions are byproducts of pictures. And when we then declare and speak life over ourselves. I am healed. You are releasing the power of the Holy Spirit into you to promote healing for that particular thing that you're praying for. So I believe all those things, I do all those things, I teach all those things. And that, and those, all those things are pieces to healing and foundational pieces to healing. Healing is very complex. There is no simple answer to it. I just have, having already written six books on healing, recent one was a couple years ago, came out a couple years ago. Unleashing healing power through spirit born emotions. And we just looked at the verse, Jesus moved by compassion heal. So compassion, which is an emotion, there's a carrier wave that carried healing power. So I'm gonna have to love the person I'm praying for to get to release healing Power. I'm gonna have to love myself. I want to release healing power to me. I have to forgive myself, love myself, honor myself, you know, because that's a real block. Unforgiveness is a tremendous block. John Arnott from the Toronto Renewal, he wrote a book on forgiveness and did a lady on stage and she had a horse, her favorite horse, fall on her and crush her hip. And she'd had hip problems, hip pain for years. Doctors had done everything it could and still very painful. And she came up on stage to have John pray for her for healing. And he said, well, have you forgiven the horse yet? She said, no. So she forgave the horse and she felt all the pain go away, you know, so the Bible is really, really big on forgiveness. Forgive everything against everyone. That's what the Bible says. That includes against yourself for all of your stupid things you've done, all the waddling around, the sin we've done, just release it. Yeah, it's all learning curve mistakes. And, and God isn't hitting you for. I mean, when Peter cursed and swore and said, I don't know Jesus, Jesus didn't come and hit him next time he saw him and tell him, you're bench for three years. He came and said, hey, that's a learning curve mistake. That's fine. You just learned that the power of the flesh and the sword in your hand is not going to build the kingdom. So that was a wonderful step growth for you. So go feed the sheep. Go feed the sheep. Go feed the sheep. Now. Religion would have benched him for three years for sure for cursing and swearing, okay. And saying, I don't even know the guy, Jesus said, no, just get back into ministry. When I began to journal two way and journaling and tell God how bad I felt about my sin, he said, mark, it's covered by the blood. I said, yeah, but you don't know how bad I feel. He said, mark, it's covered by the blood. I said, I'd like you to promise I'll never. I said, I'd like to promise I'll never do it again, but I probably will. He said, mark, it's covered by the blood. Let it go. And it's like he hit me in the stomach. Let it go. He said. And then he said, it's a learning curve mistake. I said, what? I said, don't you want to hit me? He said, no, I don't want to hit you. He said, you can learn more for learning curve mistakes than you can by doing it right. He said, you just celebrate. He said, I told you in everything to give thanks, and that means all your mistakes, you're supposed to be giving thanks because you can learn as much that way as you can. Anyway, he was never, ever hitting me. So I stepped out of. Because religion. God's always hitting him. In Christianity, when you be in the journal and hear his voice, it's. Paul calls it unconditional, incomprehensible love. And because he loved me that way, I have learned to love myself that way. I've learned to love other people that way. And when a person comes and wants prayer for healing, number one question I'm going to ask is, what happened in your life just before or the time that this illness struck you or this disease struck you? And I'll think of. Well, right now I'll tell you a story from December of this year. I was in Canada, teaching in Vancouver, sitting around the table, having lunch with the family. And she'd had back. Her back was all tight as could be, wrenched up with pain. She'd been to specialists, she'd been to doctors. They'd done everything they could. They couldn't figure it out. So I said, well, when did it start? She said, three months ago, at Christmas time. I said, well, what happened at Christmas time? Because what happened at that point in time is probably the stimulus that brought the problem on, and if we resolve what happened, the thing will go away. And she said, well, I had this real big, intense emotional calamity. And she told me briefly in a few sentences what it was. And her two daughters were sitting here at the table with me, with her and me and her husband. They said, mom, that's not all that happened. You also had this happened as a calamity, this happened as a calamity, and this. So they came up with four instead of one. Four intense emotional calamities at Christmas time. And her body. And I said, well, you know, if you want, we can go to the living room after dinner and we can just do some inner healing prayer and invite Jesus into each one of those four. Let him show up, show you what's he. Where he's at, what he's saying, what he's doing. And we can just release all the pressure and tension and anger and hatred and fear and pain, depression, whatever's connected with him, we can release it to him. She said, okay. We went and did that. We were done praying. She said, oh, my gosh, my back feels so much better. And I checked with her since then a few different times. She said, yes, it's doing much, much better. So that's the number one question I'm always going to ask myself and anybody I'm praying for. When did it begin? What happened in your life just before it began or when it began? I mean, I picked up arthritis because I harbored anger for six months. Okay. And all of the major infirmities I've had in the last 40 years of my life, I've journaled about them. I've asked God, you know, what was the cause here, what do I need to repent of? He's told me I've repented. It's released healing power. And I'm pain free. All right? I'm 72 right now, and I'm pain free. And at age 30, I had arthritis, okay, which was gone in a week through interhealing prayer. So the newest book that I have out of the publishers right now to come out next year is Hearing God's Voice for Healing. And I did go through all the gospels again and look at how Jesus did it more than half the time when it says he healed all who were present the work. The word that's used there in the Greek is therapeutic, which we get therapeutic from. And the other third of the time, it's using the word for power. So he's got both power healings, which is mentioned a third of the time. When it's translated, he healed. They're using the word for power healing. And for the two thirds of the time, it's therapeutic holy smokes. So there's a really big place for natural. For natural cures. And that. That's what in his hometown, when he said he could do no miracles. That's the word for power miracle in ergo energy power miracle. Couldn't do those, but he healed a few. Well, that's the word therapeutic. So he couldn't do a power miracle, but he could offer a therapeutic cure. And that sure doesn't come out when you read the passage because the word heal, they just throw the word healing for both of those two different Greek words, even though they're two totally different Greek words. Words. So we've looked. I've. In this book, I've looked up every example of both those two words. Put them in the append. Two different appendixes so you can read every one of those passages, see what the distinctions might be, what the differences might be, and how that might impact the way that you pray for me.
