Show Notes

Dr. Bryan Spilmon returns by popular demand to continue pulling back the curtain on the systems we've unknowingly submitted to and what the Kingdom of God offers as the alternative.

In this second installment, Dr. Spillman walks through the three pillars of any nation — faith, family, and finances — and shows how each one has been systematically targeted and corrupted through deception, not force. He unpacks why true independence has never really existed in this country, how attorneys function as foreign agents of a commercial system rooted in Babylonian law, and why your income tax doesn't fund a single government service.

But this episode isn't a political rabbit hole — it's a Kingdom conversation. Dr. Spilmon breaks down the Lord's Prayer line by line through the lens of identity, jurisdiction, and true sonship, revealing that the most revolutionary thing a believer can do isn't rebellion — it's simply knowing who they are in Christ.

[00:00:00] Speaker A: Hey, guys, welcome to the show this week. Before we jump in, a couple of quick announcements. I've got to make a correction. We had some confusion last week because last week was a replay. Dr. Jim Richards. We love Dr. Jim. I've interviewed him a number of times. So if that was your first time. To hear Jim Richards, go back on the website veritas wellness member.com click the resource tab, then the podcast button, and then you can just search his name. He's done a number of really, really amazing interviews. But in that replay last week we mentioned the need your cure conference and we had the dates, of course, from 2020 we were promoting. So just want to Clarify that for 2026, need your Cure, Oxford, Mississippi, at the Oxford Conference Center. That's August 14th and 15th. Get your tickets at needyourcure.com. that's K-N-E-A-YourCure.com Love those guys out there. Great team. They love the kingdom, they love the truth, and they love you want to bring the truth about health and wellness and peace. So want to just clarify that. And then also another clarification. We had some folks show up for looking for the fresh fruit in the Merc. I guess I that last year when I talked to Dr. Jim on that show, we replayed. But we don't have fresh fruit right now at the Merc, unfortunately. But hopefully in the future we will. But we do have a lot of other great products. So if you're in the Lubbock area, we'd love for you to come down to the Mercy, Robbie and Brendan in the gang and just enjoy some great products from local producers. Okay? And then last thing I'd mentioned to a couple of you guys out there to be sure to listen today because it was going to be Jamie Winship, but Jamie and I had to postpone that recording. He lost his voice. He's been traveling a lot and I don't know, maybe was a little under the weather too, but lost his voice the morning of our recording. So we had to postpone that. So if I had told you to be sure to tune in to hear Jamie this week, sorry about that, keep you on in suspense, but Jamie Winship will be back with us soon and then we've got a great testimony recorded that this week with the lady did just an amazing story, but it's directly related to Jamie Winship's new book, all about the worldview, Kingdom versus Empire. So got some great shows coming up. Gonna have Dr. Tom Cowan on the show later probably in June or July. Human heart, cosmic heart. I interviewed him years ago, but it's been so long. We have so many new listeners. Dr. Tom Cowan has a fascinating theory about heart disease, and I happen to believe his theory. So lots of cool shows coming up, guys. But today, by popular demand, we had so many messages asking us to get Dr. Brian Spillman back on here, people felt like we left them hanging kind of on the edge of a cliff. So Dr. Spillman brought some fascinating information about our country and lawful versus legal and marriage versus holy matrimony and automobile versus motor vehicle and traveler versus driver, and there's two of everything. Fascinating stuff. So we asked Dr. Spillman to come back and continue to enlighten us. And guys, this may seem a little odd or not directly related to health, but it absolutely is. Because these worldviews and these deceptions, we accidentally can be tricked into putting our hope, trust, faith and support into the Babylonian system instead of the kingdom. So kingdom versus empire. There's only two kingdoms, guys. The, the light and the dark. And we know who's already won, but we get tricked to look into that dark Babylonian system. So the point of these kind of shows just to reveal the truth, shine the light of truth into that darkness. And, and what you do with that information is up to you. My heart's and my intent is not to send you on a rabbit trail dive or, you know, overload you with information. It's just to make you aware and just give you more and more reason to be discerning and to abide every day. You're the branch in, but abide in the vine. That's the truth. And that truth will make you free. And that truth will. The spirit truth will lead you into all truth. And so that's the key. Abide in the vine. Love your neighbor, love God, and. But it's, I think it's beneficial to pull back the veil, shine the light behind that curtain just so you can see what we're not supposed to be participating in and trusting in. So that's the point of the show today. I hope you enjoy. We'll, we'll kick it over to Dr. Brian Spillman. And guys, this interview actually ran long. We're splitting it into two. So there's going to be a part three next week. It ended up being a two hour interview today, so we're cutting that in half. But enjoy this first part. And then next week we'll be back with a part three. All right, here we go. Hello, everybody. Welcome back to another show. I'm Dr. Ben Edwards and this is going to be a great show because back by popular demand, I would say almost even had complaints on today's guest. But the complaint was, hey, you left us hanging. Please bring Dr. Brian Spillman back. So we've got Dr. Brian Spillman today for part two. Guys, just such an amazing man of God, amazing brother, an amazing dentist. I had the honor and the pleasure of listening Dr. Spillman's presentation at Seeking Whole Health. And we're gonna have to have him back for another podcast in the future because what he taught on mouth breathing versus nasal breathing, the. The impact on the body on the mitochondria, the microbiome, the parasympathetic sympathetic nervous system, all of it just brought it all together. It was amazing. So look forward to that in the future. And guys, if you didn't hear part one, definitely, I would recommend pausing and go listen to part one from a few weeks back. Here's just a couple of highlights that I jotted down from part one with Dr. Spillman. That Jesus came to redeem us from an inauthentic authority, to put us under the authentic authority so that we could be free souls under men. He also touched on socialism, democracy, republic. Doesn't really matter that much because it's all Babylonian. Meaning it's a. It's based in a commerce, commercial interaction, commerce, contracts. And if that's new language to you, definitely go back and listen to that first episode. Talked about the true interpretation of the biblical story of pay to Caesar. What is Caesar's? It was a. An amazing interpretation that. That I had not heard before he got into birth certificate. Pledging our labor to our debts as a country and that our liberty has been taken. For instance, we don't own land. We have legal title as opposed to true title. Again, go listen to part one to unpack that a little more. He talked about the War of Independence versus the American Revolution. What's the difference in that terminology? And what that war was really about. The truth about the Civil War, a marriage license versus holy matrimony. And this same Roman system, the beast on seven hills, is still in play today. And through deception, deceit and fear, believers in Jesus Christ get tricked into accidentally submitting contractually to this Babylonian system. So it's a lot, guys, a lot to unpack. And even in just those bullet points, I don't want you to freak out. I don't want you to think, oh no, what in the world. And have to necessarily go down any rabbit holes. You know, I've gone down rabbit holes. Dr. Spill has gone down rabbit holes. And the point isn't to get you down rabbit holes, to overload you with information. My point, my heart, and I'll let Dr. Spelling speak for himself, but my heart in this is just to expose this system of the world that's it's corrupt. It's not the kingdom. And the fruit of that, we're seeing it on display. And therefore we shouldn't look to that system for answers, for true peace for sure. And if there's a way to get true peace, a different way, which there is Jesus Christ, the Prince of peace. But just knowing some of this, having knowledge and understanding and wisdom about this system we're all tangled up in. And it could just be that, just having the knowledge so that you can be more knowledgeable, so that you don't accidentally put your hope, trust and faith in that thing because it'll let you down every time. And if the Holy Spirit leads you to do more investigation or lead you to specifically do some practical next steps in your life or your family's life, you feel led to do that, with the motivation being not to stick it to the man or not pay your taxes or whatever, that's the wrong motivation. The motivation should be to love your neighbor and love God, love your neighbor, and to represent the kingdom here in the earth. So just wanted to say that from the get go, but that's, that's enough for the opening remarks. I really want to be quiet because Dr. Spillman's so full of wisdom, knowledge and understanding on these matters of the kingdom. I want to give. Give the platform to him to continue to educate us. So, Dr. Brian Spillman, thank you so much for coming back for part two of this discussion on the Kingdom. [00:09:27] Speaker B: Thank you very much for having me. It's quite an honor. And I'm kind of new to podcasts, so I was remiss that last time I thought about it, I should have really opened in prayer. So I'd like to be real quick and just open us in a prayer. [00:09:43] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:09:44] Speaker B: Thank you, Father. Thank you that we can call you Father. Thank you that you sent your son to redeem us from Satan's kingdom. And thank you that you instilled through his spirit the sons of adoption so that we can come to you as your sons and cry. Abba, Father, thank you for that identity that we are yours. And Father, I also ask that as we study today, that you would give us discernment, not just knowledge, but discernment to know what is of you and what isn't. Give us understanding and good judgment. And help us to apply your wisdom in such a way that we can expand your kingdom, that we know who we are and we know what our responsibilities are. And, Father, as we go further, I also ask that you give us courage and compassion, courage to seek your truth no matter what the cost. It can be very difficult, but give us the courage to face those trials. But also give us the compassion to forgive those that have hurt us intentionally or unintentionally, or those that want to keep us in a place that is comfortable for them, but may not be the way that you want us to follow. And above all, Father, we're your ambassadors and help us to always stay in honor and come with clean hands. It's in your hallowed name that I pray. Amen. [00:11:05] Speaker A: Amen. Thank you. [00:11:07] Speaker B: Yeah, also, I. I'm new to this podcast and I wish everybody listening was a brother and sister in Christ and they're seeking the kingdom and God's righteousness, because that's the main message. But I would be foolish to assume that everybody listening has that intent. And so as we'll get in later, we'll understand that some people are entangled in this Babylonian system and they're intent on making us submit to their jurisdiction. So I'd like to make some statements of fact. It's not to offend anybody. It's not to throw anybody off. It's just for those that are still entangled in the kingdom and are trying to enforce those codes and statutes and regulations. We need to rebut some things. So let me say that I come in honor with clean hands, and that in fact, I, and only I, can determine my identity and who I am. And I'm a living son of the living God, the creator of heaven, earth, earth, sovereign over everything known and unknown, seen and unseen. And I am also made that that is made possible by my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and he is also my advocate. So wherever I go, in whatever jurisdiction, we bring the superior law and Jesus to protect us. And I want to rebut any presumptions and assumptions about my status. Specifically, I am not an enemy combatant of the United States or any other kingdom, nor am I an ally of an enemy combatant of any other kingdom or government toward the United States. For it's written in God's law to live at peace with all men, if it possible. Also, I am not surety or collateral for any fictitious financial system or entities or trusts. It is also written in the law that he that is surety for a stranger Will Smart. And we are to owe no debt to our fellow man, but the debt of love. And lastly, I am in fact an ambassador of God's kingdom. And as such I come in honor and I expect and require diplomatic immunity in any foreign kingdoms. And I say this in the hallowed name of God and Jesus, so we can unpack that later. But that's just for the people that may be in other kingdoms or not understanding that. That we may be involved in the Babylonian system through deceit and that sometimes we don't understand how that system works. And it, it can be very, very confusing because it's not based on truth, but it's based on deception. There's only two kingdoms. There's God's kingdom and there's Satan's kingdom. And God's kingdom is substance. It is truth. And King Satan's kingdom is always based on deceit and operates in fear. And it will always be a copy and a corruption of God's kingdom. So these things that I'm discussing, is they Satan's kingdom will copy and corrupt that. The. The structure of the kingdom. So we may be holding a status of person or citizen or resident. And we don't even know what that means. And we don't even know how we became that way. Way. So just all those things said, and there were some comments, and first of all, I owe some apologies because someone said that what I was presenting sounded a little bit like sovereign citizenship. And I owe that person an apology. And anybody else that thought that that's what I was suggesting, I'm not. I'm suggesting that we come to God's kingdom. We seek that kingdom in righteousness, not rebellion, not revolution. We're not trying to destroy the United States or any other system of government, but rather we're seeking God's kingdom. And we want to do so with the right identity, who we are in Christ, not someone that can look to other kingdoms and sort of say, you aren't the boss of me and I don't have to listen to you don't tread on me attitude, but rather we want to be an ambassador and we want to show God's love to others and draw him to his kingdom through grace and mercy, not judgment and condemnation. So with that is, where would you like for us to begin in part two? [00:15:19] Speaker A: Well, maybe talk about. And this is because I don't know when this show is going to actually broadcast, but we're coming close to the Independence Day celebration. So just the thought of a republic or what we've been taught the, the kind of the founding of this country and the founding fathers and the type of government and a constitutional republic versus God's way. [00:15:49] Speaker B: Yes. [00:15:50] Speaker A: The difference in those two things and even if whatever was intentionally or initially set up compared to what's going on today. But, but really the question. The difference between republic and God's way. Could you speak to that some? [00:16:05] Speaker B: Yes. Thank you. So as back to the two kingdoms, or we might say states of government. There's God's kingdom and then there's man's governments. And man's governments can be distinguished. Jesus told us that they exercise authority, one man over another and they call themselves a benefactor. So no matter what man made government, you have a republic, which there is no such thing as a true republic. They'll call it a democratic republic, a democracy, socialism, communism, all forms of man's government fail because they're not God's kingdom. There's, there's only two. And so we can get deceived. I know I was growing up. Excuse me. And that we can think that patriotism is being loyal to our founding Fathers or this fatherland or our country. I have nothing against our country. I love our country. But I cannot pledge permanent allegiance to any other kingdom or government or country other than God. He's my only king. He is my only sovereign. He is my God. There is no gods before him. So we sometimes get confused about what patriotism is and it's loyalty to the Father. So are we talking about our Heavenly Father? Are we talking about these founding fathers? Are we talking about the Fatherland as some nations or countries are called, like Germany? No, I think we have to distinguish that we cannot be unequally yoked and serve two masters. We can only serve one. It's not that we don't have hatred. It's not that. I mean that we don't have love for our country that we hate this. It's just we have to know who it is we serve. And so here we're coming up on this celebration and oh my gosh, I don't even know where to go with this. I want to be careful. But this country has never been independent from the very get go. The, the war of independence, as we said earlier, was about the colonies which were independent colonies and that they were being treated by the king as a conquered people. It wasn't about taxes. It was about the laws that were being passed and changing their status. And so they made a declaratory trust called the, the Declaration of Independence. And they stated there that they were free men. And that they did not owe the King anything. And unfortunately when we went to war, we had to, we went in debt and we borrowed money. And the, the British Crown, which is not the King and Queen of England, but rather the people that own the bank of England, they funded both sides of that war because they knew that no matter who won, if they can control their money and their currency, that they can control that country. And that's what happened. And if anybody takes the time to look up the PD of trees. The. Yeah, the trees. What is it called? The Treaty of Peace that we signed by the way. There's 17 treaties named the Treaty of Peace. So you have to do a deep dive there. But you'll see that as far as a commercial system, we're still under British rule. We still, the people that exercise our laws are doing so underneath what's called merchant statute or unified commercial code. So we're not independent. In fact, the people that represent what we think is government today and our laws are actually attorneys. Attorneys are foreign agents. They represent the British government and their administration of this commercial law. And I know that's hard for people to understand because we've been taught that we celebrate the 4th of July and independence and unfortunately we're slaves to a system that is based back on Babylonians system, the Roman system, and it's the system that puts us into slavery through financial contracts and through a commercial system. [00:20:12] Speaker A: Yeah, and maybe we can unpack that a little bit more too because going all the way back to the garden where God said take dominion over the birds in the air, the fish in the sea, the beast of the field, over all the earth, but specifically did not instruct us to take dominion over another man or woman. Yeah, and you mentioned just a second ago, every form of government is some form of exercising authority over a fellow man. So contrary to that original declaration by an instruction by God. So I don't know the question here, but if we is, could there have been a way. Well, there was a way where humans interacted with other humans and you could speak to this more. But if you injured another human purposefully or accidentally injured their property or themselves, their family, their animals, their land, their, their house, their home, any, any possession, I guess would those be the two areas where conflict could arise? Injuring the actual man or his property. And you would need restitution for that damage. But outside of those two things, I'm just thinking about all the 50,000 code, statutes, regulations. You have to stop at this stop sign. You can't drive faster than 55 miles an hour over here. These are all traffic ones. But there's, I mean you can't go hunting for a deer unless you have the deer license. You can't be a barber and cut someone's hair without a barber's license. You can't have a, be a doctor without a doctor's life. I mean there's so many code, statutes, rules, regulations, which I mean you could say, well yeah, we need the stop sign so you don't injure somebody. But there's this, you just said this system of commercial mercantile going all the way back to Babylonian. So should it have been just those two things? Don't you injure another, your fellow man or his property? And if everyone's ruled by God loving their neighbor, loving God loving, you know, and you would make righteous restitution if you did injure somebody? I mean, is that how things should be? [00:22:28] Speaker B: Well, let's go back and, and again, this may offend people, and I don't mean to, but people will say that the United States of America is the greatest nation on earth. And unfortunately that's not correct. The greatest nation that ever lived was the nation of Israel when it entered the promised land. And for the next 400 years that nation had no king, had no standing army, had no police force, had no formal welfare system. Everything was operated on faith and, and love and charity. Nothing was given that wasn't given out of charity, out of love. So when we're commanded that you know, love God with all love God and love your neighbor as yourself, it was based on a commandment of love, a government based on love. So yes, if you did legitimately harm somebody, you would make it right because you love them. That's what you would want them to do for you. You would honor your agreements with other people, you would walk in faithfulness to God's word. But you don't create a man made government to substitute that for what God has laid on our hearts. I think you quoted a great great grandfather maybe 10 or 11 times over that said no government can survive if, if the laws of God and his love is not written on your minds and your heart. You can't do that. It will not work. And so anything man tries to make to improve on God's system is just not, it's going to fail. Because when you put man in charge, he's going to seek his own good. It's just the way it works, unfortunately. And when you elect a king, you know, that's what they, when they wanted, saw what they were looking for. Was a commander in chief. And then later they wanted David as king. And then we. This may be a hard concept to understand, but God is sovereign over everything. And. And this is the part that, you know, I really thought about this. How can I explain this? But God is sovereign over when we do right, but God is sovereign over when we do wrong. So even when we move in sin, his will will manifest itself. And there's his perfect will, and there's his permissive will, but eventually his will will manifest itself. So when the nation decided that they want to move away and have a commander in chief or have a king, the prophet at that time, Samuel, was complaining to God that they rejected me. And God said, no, they didn't reject you. They rejected me as king. And he always intended for us to have a direct relationship with him, and he's our king. But people called out for a king, and so he told them what they would get, and they got a king, and they weren't happy with what they got. But the point is this. God never intended it for us to have a king, but yet he anointed Saul, he anointed David. Both those men did some horrendous things. You know, no one's perfect. And we. Many characters in the Bible, we see them doing horrific things, and that's because we're not in the perfect will of God. We're trying to create our own kingdoms, and God will give us the freedom of choice, and then we're going to have a consequence of that choice. And so he knew at that time that out of this kingdom of David would reign a king that would be eternal, and that was his son, son, Jesus Christ. But that was put in place long ago. And he always meant for God to be the king. He always meant for Jesus to be the king. But we're not supposed to have any other kings over us. We're supposed to be free souls under God. We're supposed to be individual kings, and he's the king of kings. But other than that, we're not to have any authority over us. We're just. We're to show respect and honor to all men, but we're not to submit and obey all men. And that sometimes is confusing because unfortunately, we have people that misinterpret God's word. And if we understood this basic message that it's the gospel of the kingdom, and that Jesus came to pay a price to redeem us from this, what I'm calling inauthentic authority, Satan's kingdom, and move us over to an Authentic authority, God's kingdom, that in no way is he instructing us somewhere else to go back into the other kingdom and submit to that authority. It's. That's not what it's talking about in Romans 13 when it says, submit yourself to the higher powers. It's talking about the higher powers of God and what has been instilled in us through that spirit, our liberty. And so people get confused. And I don't know if I said this at the last podcast, but I'm just going to share it here. And again, not to offend anybody, but it's a quote I heard that starts off like something we would know, but just hear me out. It said, give a man a fish, feed him for a day, teach him that his government owns the fish, get his religion to endorse the authority of the government. Now, you can drain a man to fish as a slave, and you can govern him over the fear of jail or hell. I don't know if we mentioned that [00:27:29] Speaker A: last time, but you did it. That's good. [00:27:33] Speaker B: Well, what's happening is instead of governing ourselves, we are allowing the government to oversee us. And when the government says it, it gives us rights or it owns us. Unfortunately, many people will interpret things in the Bible that says the government has that authority that we're supposed to submit. And that's not what God's word said at all. He redeemed us. He would never put us back into that authority. We're just sort of twisting the words because that's what we've been taught. There's a. There's a verse we quoted in Peter that says, and through covetousness, feigned words, they will make merchandise of you. And a feigned word is a word that's made up that doesn't really mean what you think it means. So we twist the meanings of words, and the next thing we know that we're in trouble words. God's word has power. And when we start playing with the meaning, the truth of that word, we do not diminish God's power, but we do diminish our access to that power. When we start to believe a lie, when we come into agreement with that lie, that's a sin. And that can bind us, and it can bind things on earth and it can bind things on heaven. When Jesus said he's going to give us the keys of the kingdom, meaning he is going to redeem us, and then he said, be careful, because whatever you bind on earth can be bound on heaven, and whatever you loose on earth can be loose on heaven. And one of the ways we bind ourselves is we come into agreement with lies or we come into contracts or covenants or treaties. And that greatest nation, when they came into the land that God was going to give them, he warned them, don't, don't make any covenants or contracts or treaties. It'll be a trap, it'll be a snare. And unfortunately we, we repeatedly fall for the trap or the snare. [00:29:20] Speaker A: Yeah, well a couple points to highlight going back when permissive will and perfect will. You know we have such an integral role to play as made in his image beings, man, mankind. You know, God put us here, formed us from the dust of the earth, breath of life into us relationship with his kids. But this decision on God's part to allow us to make our own decisions if we want to go try it this way or this way or the that way or whatever, we can actually do that. [00:30:02] Speaker B: Yes. [00:30:03] Speaker A: And, but there's this perfect will of God. Hey guys, if you'll do it my way the way. And Jesus came to demonstrate that. Look at the way this is the way you interact in this situation right here. When this woman's caught in adultery right in the act. Here is the actual kingdom and way of handling that situation. Here's the way God's perfect will way in, in. And so Jesus just showed us, he told us and showed us and demonstrated it and brought the perfect interpretation temptation. He is our should be our theology. But obviously we can go our own way. And as we said earlier our deception and deceit and, and, and then fear is used as a tool to. And what I'm hearing in a lot of this I just kept thinking orphan, orphan, orphan when we don't know. As you said in your opening prayer, Abba Father God is a loving daddy, Father provider, protector. Our identities in Him. He we can trust him, rely on him for everything. And when that's broken, when we don't believe that in our heart then we gotta go. We're scared, we're fearful of lack of provision, that we'll go hungry, that we won't have our needs met. That or, and even our internal self worth value love. We start looking to other people for it or what we do like our job, but we just look for all our needs to be met outside of a loving father. [00:31:35] Speaker B: Yes. [00:31:35] Speaker A: So if you don't see God as loving father, then you're a setup to go look somewhere else. And then there's this Babylonian system with Satan is the ruler of it ultimately and his whole deal is he wants to tempt us and trick us just like all the way back at the garden. But then it seems like there's this piece of God's design and the way he constructed, created and ordained and made everything that there's like this legality component to it. Like you know, we, we have to sub, we have to voluntarily choose to go that direction. But no one's going to voluntarily choose to for Satan, I wouldn't think. But so it has to be deception. It has to be some sneaky tricky, usually played off fear and fear of lack of provision, self worth, value and love or something there. But there's got to be this binding thing like spoken word, written word, contractual. Like it's all just this intermingled thing. And I don't know, I'm kind of meshing a lot of different thoughts together here, but something about our free will ability to choose. We, we don't see God's character, nature clearly, so we start looking somewhere else. We're not gonna voluntarily submit to pure evil darkness. So it's, it's shrouded in this deceptive thing can look really, really good. And we submit to it. Down to the actual physical submission of I'm right signing my name on the dotted line on this contract. But that's how that system, what you're saying, this commerce, Babylonian commerce, it's a commerce contractual system and all that. Maritime law and British accreditation bar attorney there and all these codes and statutes. It's this twisted web of legal contracts hooking us into this system and one man rules over another man and just ah, I don't know if I'm making any sense. [00:33:28] Speaker B: No, you are. And, and I wanted to go over just a few things that if you're gonna build a kingdom or a nation, there's, there's three pillars and that we look at faith, family and finances. And if you want to destroy a nation, you go after faith, family and finances. So let me just go through some of that. Our faith. Well, let me start with by just reciting the Lord's Prayer and it says, our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For I know then depending on which verse you're looking at, they don't finish with for thighs of the kingdom and the glory and the power. But let me just stop right there and I want to come back to it after we talk about faith, family and, and finances, because it's all in that prayer. It's really interesting. So when we look at faith, we have our faith. Faith can determine our destiny in God's eternal kingdom, in both a heavenly and an earthly realm. So what we believe in our faith can determine our destiny. Now here's the interesting part. Jesus, many times in the Bible, he would heal somebody or something would happen, and he would say, it's your faith that healed you. But so that we understand it's not the power of our faith, but rather our faith. Faith in the power of God, his higher powers. It's not the power because he said if we had the, the faith the size of a mustard seed, we could move mountains. So it's not our faith that, that it's not that power. It's that we believe God and we. And who he is and his character and his truth. And so when we come to faith, there are three components of faith that sometimes get overlooked. And the first is that we believe. And I think there's many people that call themselves followers of Christ, that believe in Jesus, that believe he's the Son of God, that believe he was born of a virgin birth, that believe he lived a sinless life, that believed he gave up his life on a cross to redeem us, that he died and was resurrected and reigns in heaven. That we believe that. But there's another dimension to faith. That's the second dimension, and that is trust. So I can believe something, but that's just head knowledge. When I begin to trust it, that's heart knowledge. That's what I hold in my heart. And trust is actually, when we talk about trust, there's actually laws of trust. It's called equity. When you look at proverbs and in the introduction, it tells you what the purpose of Solomon's proverbs are. And it is to give us wisdom and understanding and to know equity, which is righteous judgment. And so there's trust. So do we trust God? Do we believe what he says? And then here's the part and James talks about this. We use slightly different words here, but James says faith without works is dead. Well, I would phrase it this way. Faith without obedience is dead. So many people are called, but few are chosen. And what that means is many people believe, but a fewer amount choose to trust and an even fewer amount are chosen to actually follow the way. Very few are in the part where they're going to seek obedience based on God's truth, no matter what the Cost. And it's, it's difficult to do that because we have been so deceived over generations of generations of generations. And the depth of the deception is so great that our minds can't comprehend it. We cannot comprehend that. We don't really understand who we are. We don't know our status and standing in jurisdictions of kingdoms. We don't even know what those words mean. And we are so laden with heavy burdens that we're being crushed by that. And so we're just struggling every day to just provide for our families and trust these other systems to give us all these things. And in that, in that our faith is put into a system. And so let me just say this. I want to, I want to be very clear. We are not to fix the system, the Babylonian system, our government, we're not to get back to gold based money, any of that stuff is trying to fix the system. I'll tell you what, the system, Babylonian system is not broken. It works extremely well because it makes you a voluntary commercial slave under all these rules and regulations. And you threw fraud, deceit to this and give up your true rights and your true identity and live as someone in debt, when in fact you are the creditor, you're the one that is the son of God, you own everything. So this deception that we have to somehow fix the system is just us putting our hope in the wrong, putting our faith in, in the wrong system. And then second, we come to family. So family can determine your identity. It also determines your, what you understand as your responsibilities, how you're supposed to act. And then it can also help you to leave a legacy within this kingdom building. And so we come in this, and so what is our identity? You know, we are, we have different roles and responsibilities. You know, I have the identity as a, as a husband, I have the identity as I'm a son. I'm also a brother. I'm, I'm, I'm a dentist. I have different roles or different offices, but that's not who I am. Who am I really? Well, because of Jesus Christ. God brought him to redeem us from this false kingdom so that we can move from being properties of the state to free souls under God. You're either a free soul under God or you're a slave to the state. There is no in betweenness. There is no sovereign citizen. So God redeemed us and he put his son's spirit in our hearts so that we can cry out as adopted sons and say, abba, father, right there, as you said in the very beginning, when we open that prayer that we can call God father, that is our identity. We are living sons and daughters of the living God, and we determine that through family. And when I say family, we're in the family of God. But in God's kingdom, the fundamental unit of his kingdom is the family. And in biblical times, they refer to that as the house. And, and when they're moving into the promised land, Joshua says, determine you the. Determine ye this who this. Determine this day who you will serve. For me and my house, we will serve the Lord. He's dedicating his house, his family structure to serving God. And so in the kingdom of God, family is the fundamental structure. It's. It's where we understand who we are. And in Proverbs it says, raise a child up in the, in the proper way, then he will know it. He will not deviate that even as he gets older. So when we're talking about, we need to know that the way, the truth is our identity, the way is what God tells us to follow. And then finally we have the life. That's where we experience life, is in families, in community with our brothers and sisters and our neighbors. That's where we find life abundant in the family. But unfortunately, some people are born into families and they don't experience love. They don't, they weren't nurtured. Even before you have language as a baby, you can feel love. You feel love for your mother. We know, you know, as a doctor, sometimes when they put children in and isolate them and they don't get human touch, the children won't thrive. Sometimes they'll even die. That we need to be held, we need to be nurtured before we even know the words. We know that we are loved. We know our identity is that we're something of worth. We may not know the terms that were created in the image of God, but we know we're of value because that's what we receive from our parents, our father, our mother. And our true identity is a son and daughter of the living God. We have incredible value, but it's because of that relationship with God. Apart from God, we don't have that. We're. We're dependent on that divine spark. We're created in his image, but we need to be in a personal relationship with God to experience truth, to know his way, and to experience life abundant. Jesus said he's the way, the truth and life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. But here's. Let me state it another way. No one can know him as Father except through Jesus. No one can know him as a son and daughter unless they come to God through Jesus and his redemption and his spirit. So now we've talked about faith and being, believing, trusting and obeying. And now we're talking about family, where we understand our identity, where we understand how to live and then how to experience life abundant. But then we come to finance. And sometimes we, we underestimate this. But I want to look here, I've got something written, written down. And finance is not just money. Finance is the wealth that God entrusted to us. So if you don't mind, I'm going to read a verse here in the Bible and it's really, to me, it's profound. So I'm in Ecclesiastes and I'm looking down here and we're looking that we've. This is chapter five, verse 18. Behold that which I have seen. It is good for one to eat and to drink and to enjoy good. All of his labor, that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him for his own portion. Every man also to whom God has given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion to rejoice in his labor. This is a gift. Now this is what, this is the way it's supposed to be. So let me unpack some of that stuff when we talk about this, that God has given us these things. We are to be stewards over them. But I just want to use some of the legal terminology that would be related to this. So God has given you riches and wealth? Well, what's the difference? Well, God has given you riches and then you are entitled to the wealth you create from the riches that he gives you. You don't have to share that. Now we do give through love to support our neighbors through love, but we are not required to pay a tribute. That's a free will offering based on love, hope and charity. Secondly, and hath given him power to eat thereof. What does that mean? Just so people, to make this more clear, that means you are the intended beneficiary. When God gave you something, he entrusted it to you and you were the intended beneficiary. Now why is that important? Early in your introduction you talked about some things called legal title versus true title. Well, what happens is Satan's kingdom. They do something where they separate titles and they separate the title, the legal title, from the intended beneficiaries title. And what happens is, is that this called equitable conversion and what happens is in the legal title. This is what's so interesting that we don't understand. We have the apparent right of ownership, where the actual ownership and benefit of that ownership belongs to another. So you gave an example, and we've talked about this before. You go out and you buy a car. Now you should be getting the manufacturer, statement of origin, the title to that vehicle. But they send that to the state you live in and that gets registered with the state. And now the vehicle you paid, you just gave over to the state. And you have to pay a user's fee. And you have to apply for the privilege of driving that same automobile that you bought. You have to apply to the privilege through a license to get an operator's license or a driver's license. And then you have to pay them to use that. Now you have the legal title, but they have the intended benefit. But that's not what it says here in Ecclesiastes. You are supposed to have the asset and you are supposed to have the true title. You are the beneficial interest. I don't know if I'm making sense to people. Yes, let me go just a little bit further because we're confused. See, we don't own things. We only pay a user's fee. When we have a status of man that's a person, citizen or resident, we have no ownership with this, this, these rights of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. We can't have those things. We have to apply to those. Those aren't rights. They become privileges under man's system. In government, we may call them rights. Those are feigned words, but they're actually privileges. And we talked about in the constitution, the first 10amendments are referred to as the Bill of Rights. So when there's the word bill associated, there is a charge, there's a price to pay. So you had to give up some liberty. And in order to receive the benefit or the privilege that they're calling you a right. But only God gives rights. Man cannot give rights. And with rights come responsibilities. But when you abdicate your responsibility to another man, you lose part of that right. You lose it in the form of a liberty, you lose your higher power. And so we have to be careful because through deceit we enter into these contracts and agreements and we don't even realize what we're giving up. So let me go to the rest of this because we talked in the last episode about are we supposed to pay tribute taxes now? Let me just. You're. You're there to eat thereof and you are to rejoice in his labor. Now it's, you get all the labor, the full labor. What does that mean? It's like when you work and what have you earned for what you work? That all belongs to you. That you don't have to pay anybody for the privilege to work or for the usage fee of the land. You, that's, that's, that belongs, that full fruit of your labor belongs to you. Now through charity, through love for your fellow man. You may decide through a free will offering to give it to somebody. But you don't owe it to anybody. It's all yours. You don't have to purchase a benefit with your, with your life, with your blood, with your sweat, with your tears, with the property that you own, like your land or your cattle or your children, which by the way, many people may not understand that, but in the United States you do not own your children. You have the legal title to them, but they are wards of the state. That's why child protective services can come in and remove them from you. If you're in that system and you've made a contract with them and you don't know it, you've given them certain authority. And unfortunately that happens all the time. And I just looking here, that, that to take his portion means to receive your estate. See, when God entrusted us with taking dominion over the land, the air and the sea, he entrusted to us. He created us in a state of righteousness and he gave us an estate. Now he owns everything. But we are just the steward, the overseer, and we have the intended beneficial interest. We get to eat thereof. Now in Satan's kingdom, that's not what happens in Satan's kingdom through this financial fraud, you are taught that you are in debt to these systems to purchase these benefits. Well, these benefits and privileges were rights that were endowed with to you by God in the first place. You don't, you don't have to go to some other kingdom to get your needs met that you don't need that God provides that we can go to him as his son. We're entitled to all that. The word entitled, we have the title. We are the Son of God. Now we're not these, we're the adopted sons of God through Jesus Christ, but we are co heirs with him. And ultimately not only do we inherit everything that we see here, but we inherit God himself. Imagine that. So we don't have to go to any other kingdoms to beg for something. Just to pray. It's actually called pray. To pray to them to receive a privilege that's, that's all based on fraud. That's all based on fear. That's all based on not knowing who you are. That's all based on someone giving you an identity through a name. And then you become. You think you are that name and you're not that name. Your, your identity is in Christ. It's not in the name that the government gave you that put on a birth certificate that the, the office of Commerce gave that a number called a Q SIP number. And then you became certificated and securitized and monetized all based on you accepting the status of that name. I'll stop there and take a breath, but that's the point of which any family faith and finances that what you really own bases based on the false system of Babylon. It's, it's all a trap to get you to think you need to come into them for, for security. It's. As a matter of fact, there is no real money. Everything we sign are. Are debt instruments. And we, we are, through this deceit of debt, we think we have freedom when an actuality, we're signing our freedom away. Every time you said it, every time you give an unrestricted signature, you're, you're allowing them to monetize your labor or your intellectual capacity or your children. They, any property of yours, they get to make money off of that. And they do that through creating these debt instruments that we don't even realize exist. When you look at a dollar bill, people look at a dollar bill and say, well, that's a dollar bill. And it's. Well, actually if you look at it, it's a Federal Reserve note. It's a debt instrument. And if you look really closely, you look at a $1 bill and it'll say the Federal Reserve Bank. And then when you go to every other denomination, what you'll see is it will say the Federal Reserve System. So this is not money. This is not lawful money. These are debt instruments. They have no value except the value that we give it, that we give it through fraud. They're just pieces of paper. And we print money left and right. It's not really printing. We just go to a computer. And where does money come from? Well, it's not real money. These debt instruments are just made up out of fiction. We go to a private bank who creates this money and then loans it to the nation. And then because we are securitized as the debt, we are the surety for the debt. And then that it's our labor that backs that debt. And some People are misunderstand. But your, your income tax, the taxes you pay on income, it doesn't go to provide any federal service, any governmental service does not come from income tax that goes strictly to pay the interest on the debt. We never pay the principal. So see, we're trapped in a perpetual state of debt. And they want you to think that you owe this money, that you are the debtor, when in reality you are the son of God. God owns everything. You don't owe them anything. Now, you may have entered into a contract and God is a God of. God is a God of honor, and you have to honor your contracts. But if you can come out of that state of slavery under contract or covenant, then the Bible says, by all means, do so. I'll take a breath. [00:53:27] Speaker A: Well, I'm trying to hold my tongue. [00:53:29] Speaker B: Oh, well, go right ahead. I'm sure there's things that need to be added. [00:53:32] Speaker A: Oh, I better not or I'll get in trouble because I'm getting pretty fired up because you just said a private bank prints money out of thin air. As much as they want to give to us, the, the people. And then we turn around on a 1040 every April 15th and give some of that back to pay the interest to that private bank. Yeah, basically, is what you just said. [00:54:03] Speaker B: Yes, that's, that's this Babylonian system that keeps you as a debt slave. And that's why I'm saying we are not to go into this system and try to fix the system. Yes, it is not broken. It's working great. It's enslaved every one of us and it's enslaving our children's children because the debt is so great. It's, it's, it is working perfectly. [00:54:23] Speaker A: Yeah, it's crushing us. Yes. Financially, physically, mentally, emotionally. Which is the point of this whole show, guys, is to shine the light of truth on this system that you didn't know was the Roman Babylonian mystery system, but there it is, and we're all tangled up in it. [00:54:45] Speaker B: So now let me go back to, to the Lord's Prayer and let's just break it down with what we've said so far. So the. When they asked Jesus how should we pray? And the first thing he said, our Father right there is the most important thing we need to know because our identity are sons and daughters of the living God. Now, you're a physician, I'm a dentist. If you want to heal yourself, if you want spiritual health, if you want physical health, if you want mental health, if you want a mission, emotional health, where do you start the healing process? I'll tell you where it's in your identity, in Christ. [00:55:21] Speaker A: Amen. [00:55:22] Speaker B: It's knowing that he is your father and you are his adopted son. And just so. Some people may not be familiar with this, but in the Hebrew culture, a son by birth, by blood, can be disowned. A son by adoption can never be disowned. No matter what you do, you can never disown that son once you've adopted him. We were given sonship under the spirit of adoption. So first off, our Father, then it says, who art in heaven. Well, what it's talking about is seated in the higher powers. He's above and beyond everything he created. He is not contained by, by space and time and matter. We're confined to that in the physical world. He's not. He's above that. He's in the higher powers. And the reason I bring that term up, higher powers is when people go to Romans 13 and say, Submit yourself to the higher powers. The word is exousia. It doesn't mean a government apart from God. It means God himself. He is the higher power. And he's. He's instilled those powers in us as his son, we get to inherit some of those powers. So our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. What we're saying there is. We honor the name of God, the name of God, the faith in his character and his name. A name can, can convey your character and your powers. So we're. We're acknowledging that God is above all things. Our faith is in God and God alone. So here we're hitting. We've talked about family right off the bat, and we're talking about our faith in God and His hallowed name. I said, all right, let's see. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. So we're asking that God would build his kingdom here. And Jesus said he came to build that kingdom, and that when he said he will come back. Well, and he said, when he comes back to reign as a kingdom, he'll eat with us. Well, after he was resurrected, there's three times in the Bible where he sat down to eat with his disciples. So his kingdom is reigning right now. I'm not saying we may not be returning for, waiting for some type of return, but if you think we're waiting for him to come back to build the kingdom, you're mistaken. We are called to build the kingdom. That's what we, our identity is a living son and daughter of the living God. But our role, our responsibility, our way is to build the kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven. And that kingdom is not a territory. That kingdom is the right to rule. That's what it means by seeking the kingdom in his righteousness. Righteousness is the right order. Kingdom is the right to rule. And that kingdom resides in our hearts. It's written on our minds and our hearts. I think it's in Jeremiah where he said, and I will create a new covenant, and that I will write my laws on their minds and hearts, and they will be my people. So we have a new covenant. Because we failed in the old covenant. God didn't, didn't do anything. He didn't divorce his bride. He just made her anew again through Jesus Christ. We were redeemed, we were washed clean. We're born of water and a spirit. So we were. We were washed clean through Jesus. And so it's the same bride, but she's just made new. So because she's made new, there's a new and better covenant. Anyhow, I can get pretty worked up about this stuff. So let's go further. All right, so we're saying, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Now, what's interesting is back in the day when you became. When you were baptized and they were baptized into the systems, when you were in. In Jesus's time in the Pharisees, you would have been baptized into that system, temple, that particular congregation. You would have been given a white stone that had a number on it and that you could show that and go anywhere you want it to, and they would help you if you were in need. But that obligated you to pay in. You had to pay into a system. You had to pay the temple tax. It was not an option. It was not a free will offering. You were made to pay the tax. And then they. We talked about this in the last episode. They play with that because they want to make an exchange rate that they were, you know, say, oh, well, Brian, your sacrifice here is a dove. It's not good enough. There's a blemish. You're going to have to buy mine at three times the going rate. So he was. They were making you pay this temple tax and making you purchase these sacrifices in the courtyard of the temple. And they were being money changers, in essence. Maybe not for the Romans, but they were within. That they were making. When God goes in and overturns the temple. The. The. The tables. Excuse me. It says he overturns the tables and he's got this whip. And we're taught that he's so angry, he's going in there and he's driving these people out with a whip. No, every king had a crook, and he had a ceremonial whip, and he would lay the whip on your shoulder, and that meant you were fired. So when he was turning over the tables, these were the clerks in these banking systems. This was an actual table. A table also means banks. So he was. He was this corrupt financial system where we're talking about how you destroy a nation. They had corrupted the finances, and he was dismissing those bankers. He was overturning those tables. And afterwards he went in and it says he sat down in the temple treasury because the temple was a bank. And so he sat down in the treasury. Now here, it doesn't mean he's setting down like I'm setting down at this interview. He set down in authority as the high priest and the high king. And so the Sadducees, and I'm sorry, the Pharisees come running in there, and they don't ask him to get up out of that seat, but they do say, by whose authority are you doing these things now? He's a king. And we talked about that last time. Kings don't answer questions directly. As a king, you can't just go in and address a king like that. Kings ask questions of you. So he said, all right, I'll answer your question if you'll answer my question. By whose authority is John baptizing? And they talked among themselves. They said, well, if we say he's baptizing under the authority of men, he. The. The people will stone us because they see him as a prophet. And if we say he's baptizing under the authority of God, then he'll say, well, why aren't you following his way, this bat? Why aren't you taking that baptism? So they said to him and said, neither will we answer you. And he said, all right, then, I won't answer you. But nobody asked him to get up out of the seat of the temple treasury. These. All these people, when he laid that whip on them ceremonially, they knew he was the king and he was the priest. Thousands and thousands of people in Jerusalem knew him as the king. When he entered Jerusalem on that donkey, everybody is singing Hosanna. And the highest. The highest son of David just came in, the high king and the priest, they were not confused. There were thousands of people baptized into his kingdom. They knew he was God and they were taking his baptism because his baptism meant that you were in the kingdom of God, which was based on hope, faith and. And love. It was not based on force where you had to pay a tribute. So, so when we're looking at that, our daily bread, people could go to the temple. All that to say, you could go to the temple, and if you were baptized in there, if you needed it, they would give you an allotment of grain which was the equivalent of your daily bread. So give us this day our daily bread, and lead us not into temptation. Now, that's not really the phrase I would say, because God does not lead us into temptation. It says in James, God doesn't tempt us, but we're tempted by the own desires of our heart. And what is it we desire? We desire certain benefits. We desire to kind of get something for nothing. So when it's lead us not into temptation, don't lead us into something where we're going to try to reach out and grab a benefit, because that benefit is going to be a snare and a trap. And that's why it says, and deliver us from evil. That word evil there, I believe, is pronounced panares. It doesn't mean moral decay. What it means is unpressed. I mean, being pressed down by labors and toils. You're under such a heavy tribute, you have to work all the time. That's what it's saying. What did Jesus say? All you that are heavy laden, come to me. Give me your burden for, and I'll exchange it. I'll give it. My yoke is light, My burden, I'm gentle. But we're under these taskmasters because we don't know who we are, because we've been deceived. And we're going into this commercial system and everything is taken from us. All our rights, we give up unknowingly by signing things and coming into agreement. And our. Our. Maybe our. Our parents did that. We talked about the birth certificate, how our mother acts as an agent for us and gives us up at birth, you know, and we talked about this in Job, that it says the fatherless will be snatched from their mother's breast to pay the debt. And so mom, we. They fill out the live birth certificate. Mom is instructed to put her maiden name there on the line that's entitled informant. So what they're saying under the maiden dame is you're saying that this child doesn't have a father. They're fatherless, they're not born into a house and so that now they become a ward of the state and she is the informant. She's giving up something. But we're not fatherless. Jesus redeemed us and brought us in through the spirit of sons and an adoption so that we are sons and daughters of God. We're not without a father. We have a heavenly father. What did Jesus say? Call no man on earth father, for your father is your father in heaven. He's not saying about the family structure. I can still call my dad father if he were living. But what it means is you don't go to somebody else for your provision for your protection for these benefits because you already have them as the Son of God. Am I making sense? [01:05:23] Speaker A: 100%. 110%. [01:05:26] Speaker B: Okay. [01:05:27] Speaker A: So good. Okay, everybody had to cut that right there. Hope you enjoyed that first hour. We've got a whole second hour of this episode, but we're going to play that next week. And as always, we archive these on veritas wellnessmember.com under resource tab under podcast. And you can just find Dr. Spillman's name and listen to the part, the very first part one. If you didn't hear that, of course today's show will be on there, too, and all the podcast platforms.
